Even though we are not having our Annual Spring Showcase & Banquet, we are having a private function for Miorita Family and Friends. On April 27th at Cochrane High School we will host a tea and will showcase the children who have been working so hard this year to prepare for Mosaic. The tea will be from 2:00-4:oo pm. We will have dainties provided by the families of the dancers as well as coffee and tea. This is an opportunity to invite Grandma and Grandpa, Aunts and Uncles, whomever is special to you and your family to come and cheer on the kids while they try out their new moves.

Mosaic 2014 is just around the corner. Seniors are having extra practices, the Mosaic Planning Committee is getting organized, we are on the look out for volunteers, guest performers are confirmed and that is just the beginning. Keep your eyes open to the website and your email for more information regarding Bring a Little Mosaic to You and preparations for Mosaic. The week before the event will be very busy and we will need all hands on deck.
Spring is coming and to be ready, you need to visit St George and their Spring Bake Sale. There is an assortment of baking, Easter breads, cabbage rolls and perogies as well as many other delightful treats to enjoy. The sale is Saturday, April 5th at 12:00 pm. See you there!

The schedule is yet to be finalized but dance will start on September 23rd. Be ready! It is going to be great.
Registration is set for Monday, Septebmer 16th. It will be at the UNF at 7:00 pm. In order to be fair to all dancers and better follow the bylaws of the organization, we will be more stringent about payment.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ALL REGISTRANTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL IN ORDER TO DANCE. THIS MEANS EITHER PAID IN FULL OR WITH THE FULL COMPLIMENT OF POST DATES CHEQUES THAT COVERS ALL DANCE FEES OVER A 10 MONTH PERIOD, OR LESS.

The 2013 Annual General Meeting is set for September 9th, 2013. It will begin at 7:00 pm and will be at the Ukrainian National Federation Hall.
Proposed changes to the Bylaws are up for a vote as well as the new Business Plan for the 2013 – 2014 year.
Please ensure you are at the meeting to guarantee a quorum for voting.
Remember that costumes fittings are scheduled for January 7, 13, 14th. Please check the calendar for your groups date and time. The fittings will be at Butcher Boy Meats upstairs at the storage room. Please bring your old costumes to be sure they are still fitting well.

What to do: Bowling from 4pm to 6pm (Cost covered by Miorita)

The first fundraiser of the year is officially underway! Butcher Boy Meats on Park Street has again joined Miorita to provide flavor filled Saskatchewan Made products. The items include an amazing selection of meat products and new this year are smoked pork chops, elk sausage and turducken to name a few. We have expanded our baking selections provided by Northgate Bakery to include 6 new squares for the Christmas season to compliment the items we had in the past. As well, the Harvest Pie Company and Owl’s Nest in Pangman, Sk is making pies and fruit spreads from local berries and rhubarb that will knock your socks off. Of course we have traditional perogies as well so your holiday table will be complete. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Monday, September 17th at 7pm. The meeting will take place at the UNF Hall. All members are encouraged to attend! This is your opportunity to bring new ideas forward and have your thoughts be heard. It is also an opportunity for those interested in the 3 vacant positions (President, Vice President & Volunteer Instructor) to stand up and be counted! There is always room for a Member at Large as well. This gives you an opportunity to learn more about the group and how we work, bring ideas and learn about the positions on the board. If you are interested in getting to know more and perhaps looking at more, come out and join us or talk with one of the current Board Members for more information.
